Sample Markups & Reports

These are markups that are corresponding discrepancies between Architectural and Structural drawings, specifically A1.05 and S2.20.  STARS are a way to identify issues which may result if additional COST or TIME needed to address this once construction has begun.  We take great care to cross reference these items so that it is easy to find where the discrepancy lies, for both the Architect and Structural Engineer!

A1.05
S2.20

Below you can see how this is incorporated into our report under both disciplines.  This may additional lines to the report, but the redundancy is to ensure both disciplines are aware of the issue:

Report – Architectural
Report – Structural

We have used Peer Review on several of our most recent projects and found it to be a value added service to our clients. John Weaver’s experience, knowledge and understanding of the construction process makes him a valuable member of our construction team. His review eliminates misunderstandings, discrepancies and coordination errors between the design disciplines.

We have found the services, provided by John Weaver, of Peer Review, to be necessary and valuable. When the redline comments are presented to the construction and design team, it generates dialog to be pro-active and solves issues before they become problems. We look forward to a continued relationship with Peer Review on our fuure projects.

If you have any questions, please call me directly, and I will describe our success in greater detail.
